We were interested because it was a 15 year, 1.55% interest rate and very low closing costs compared to what we encountered in the mortgage industry. The loan application process was a pleasant experience with lower costs than any of the conventional loans we had encountered. The use of the online application and requested information was easy to retrieve from information in our possession. The people we dealt with were very helpful and considerate of our concerns.

Our broker tells me that people don’t believe that a company could offer interest rates this low. We didn’t quite believe this either, that is until it happened. Coming from 2.375%, we went down to 1.55%, initially saving about $275/month in interest (that is after about $4,000 in financial costs become recouped in about 14 months). And to be sure, only the very most qualified are accepted for this product. If you don’t plan to move for a bit and have the equity and credit scores, I’d suggest giving this a try.

Going through this was exceedingly convenient. Immediately after inquiring I was put in contact with [an SPE]. Then, [the SPE], and the rest of [the SPE’s] team were exceptionally professional and facilitated my refi about as effectively as it could be facilitated. I couldn’t be happier with how this went. [The SPE’s] advice always seemed very sound and the app made it extremely easy to review and sign documents without having to meet with [the SPE] in person every time something needed to be signed. It was also very nice to receive a $750 credit. I wasn’t expecting that.
